Public invited to assisted living open house

Thalman Square Memory Care unveils new look after renovation

Even the exterior has a new paint scheme at Windhaven Assisted Living and Thalman Square Memory Care. Now it’s time for an official unveiling. The recently finished renovation at Thalman Square involved tearing out a wall, taking down wallpaper, installing new lights, repainting, recarpeting and replacing furniture to create a modern, vibrant but calming space for people living with dementia.

“The new look includes streamlined color schemes and brightens the space,” explains Director of Assisted Living Spencer Steffy. “We didn’t use any heavy patterns on the floors or walls, so residents have an easy environment to navigate and enjoy.”

Visitors can see living spaces and common areas, plus meet employees, at this month’s open house.
