Western Home Foundation announces child care scholarship recipients
CEDAR FALLS — Western Home Foundation announced the recipients of the 2024 Child Care Scholarships, totaling $14,400, awarded to seven employees of Western Home Communities. These scholarships aim to recognize their dedication and service while supporting their families.
Scholarship recipients are:
Haley Burbridge, business office associate
Dakota Chavez, medication aide at Madrid Home
Jofelle Corona, employee health nurse
Megan Grimm, fortified life lifestyle coach
Morgan Lehmann, director of wellness
Maggie Rottinghaus, physical therapy assistant
Rose Stone, massage therapist
The scholarship fund was established by Kay and Willard Jenkins to honor and support the hardworking employees of Western Home Communities. "Western Home Communities has an excellent record of having well-trained and caring employees, so we thought this scholarship would both recognize their admirable service and aid them in providing for their families," the Jenkinses said.
In addition to recognizing the recipients, this initiative serves to attract and retain exceptional individuals for the future growth of Western Home Communities.
The Jenkins will celebrate this year's scholarship recipients at a luncheon in May.
