Assisted living remodel nearly complete

An overhaul of décor throughout Windhaven Assisted Living, planned for 2020 and interrupted by the pandemic, is receiving rave reviews.

Painting occurred earlier this year but pandemic-related supply chain issues caused delivery delays. Carpet was installed in August, then boxes upon boxes of furnishings, window treatments and artwork were delivered, unpacked and put in place the week of Nov. 7.

The result? A fresh and bright yet comfortable feeling, with a beautiful color scheme of blues, browns and grays throughout. Natural light flows in through abundant windows, and many conversation areas invite residents and guests to sit a spell.

Next up for décor overhauls: the attached Thalman Square Memory Support Assisted Living, and Windgrace Independent Living at 5118 S. Main. Watch for progress updates in 2023!
